Being on a boat on the Sea of Galilee, you can get a beautiful view of Mount Arbel and the Valley of Doves. The valley is a natural path that connects Nazareth, Cana, and Capernaum. It's the way that Jesus would have traveled often. Many miracles happened along that path. 

 

As I reflected on this place, I thought about the paths we all take in life. Our normal routes to work, school, the store; the paths we frequently walk in our home and around our neighborhood; these paths are so familiar that they are ordinary. Yet when we allow Jesus in our lives, it is in those ordinary paths that we can encounter extraordinary things. 

 

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6
